After months of being down, the Blawg Republic has resurfaced. I'm not sure what happened, and I can't say that it's new and improved. But it's back. So, there you have it.
I think I'll e-mail them....

Hi Abbie,
we never intended to be offline so for so long. After we set off to improve the service we realized we would have to move Blawg Republic to a new dedicated server. That took more time than expected, and most of that time was spent modernizing how we fetch feeds.
The next thing we are working on is reviewing a backlog of over 500 submissions. This should make it a more useful search engine and discovery tool.
The original improvements we had in mind have not been released yet, but they have to do with driving more visitors to each Blawg listed in the directory.
